Helping build the next generation of ranchers

Tye Stephens was born and raised in Ingram, TX, where his grandparents settled in the 1930’s, as many families of that era did, in search of a better climate and living conditions. Over the next 8 decades, the Stephens family scratched out a living ranching, improving property, and selling the by-product, cedar fence posts, which they have built into the oldest family-owned business in Kerr County.

Tye grew up on his family ranch, where he spent most of his free time hunting and fishing, and developed a love for the outdoors that was much deeper than the average person’s. He enjoyed seeing the end result of his father’s work, when spring rains yielded a forb flush and grasses replaced the once-dense canopy of a cedar monoculture.

He was intrigued by tales of large south Texas bucks and quail coveys, and wondered why they weren’t being produced in the hill country. That burning question, along with opportunities that only the Lord could have created, lead Tye to a degree in Range and Wildlife Biology from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where he began a 20-year career managing some of the largest and most prestigious ranches in Texas.

He and his wife, Cynthia, were blessed to raise their daughters on big country, spending many of their days as he had, with a gun or fishing pole in hand. He returned to his home town in 2016 to help his aging father with the family business, and began using his expertise in ranch management to help landowners acquire, improve, and steward ranches.

Tye quickly realized the intrinsic value in creating and perpetuating the same ranching heritage that he enjoyed. His passion for seeing native range and wildlife improved, extensive knowledge of all facets of ranching, and decades of business contacts from all over the state, helps him deliver a service to his clients that far exceeds rural realty. It is his goal to correctly match a property to a landowner that will allow them success given their specific goals and resources.

At an early age Chase was fortunate to have the opportunity to work on several premier ranches in Maverick, Webb and Zavala County. It was during his time on these ranches he realized he wanted to become a Texas landowner.

In order to achieve this goal he took a leap of faith, incurred risk and engaged his entrepreneurial spirit by starting an on-site service and sanitation company that serviced a void he saw in the market.

From the company’s inception, his focus was to always go above and beyond for his clients and the obsession around customer service fueled the companies growth. The company quickly became one of the premier on-site service and sanitation providers in the southwest and across the U.S.

By the Lord's favor, taking risk and a commitment to customer service he was able to achieve his goal of becoming a Texas Landowner.

His areas of expertise on ranches are understanding groundwater, surface water development and habitat improvement. In addition to ranching and real estate, Chase owns and operates an oilfield equipment rental company.

He has been blessed to own ranches in South Texas and the Hill Country and currently operates his ranch outside of Mason, Texas where he lives with his wife Kristen and two girls, Addison and Caroline.

Morgan Willis was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, where she grew up horseback riding, checking fence and working cattle alongside her dad and grandpa. She was taught at a young age to get up early, work hard, put the livestock and others needs before herself but most importantly to serve the Lord. Her upbringing also taught her what’s right and wrong, to respect the land and respect all creatures of God. As she grew, her passion has been fostered and grown to appreciate the western heritage and diverse landscapes. Morgan’s love of the land and agriculture has inspired her life choices, and she wants that same purposeful feeling for her clients. Morgan’s devotion to agriculture has been on her heart for years, and she wants to help others find that piece of property to fuel their passions, whether being a home to instill roots or a piece of land to start their own traditions. She uses her grit and work ethic to make sure her clients are respected and treated with honesty and integrity. Her resiliency and work ethic will ensure there is transparency and clarity in all transactions. Her commitment to her clients doesn’t end at the closing table, it’s more than just a transaction for Morgan. She is there to help her clients be stewards of their land and help lay a foundation for the next generation of ranchers.

Morgan and her husband, Brandon, love the land and the Hill Country and they made the decision to move back to Mason where they have started raising the 5th generation of ranchers with their three children: Lyda, Gray and Shep. When not taking care of her clients, Morgan enjoys tending to cattle and training horses. She is a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers and the American Quarter Horse Association. Morgan and her family work to make sure that the legacy of western heritage continues in their family and in Morgan’s profession.

Adam Sermo grew up in Michigan where he learned at a young age the love and passion for the outdoors. He moved to Texas in 2020 and has since enjoyed spending time on various ranches and gained an appreciation for the Texas ranch lifestyle. With his knowledge of the land, he wants to help his clients find that special spot to spend with family and friends to create lifelong memories. Adam believes he has a servant’s heart; he finds himself always going above and beyond to help his clients find that land to create traditions for future generations. He enjoys seeing clients get that glow of excitement in their face when stepping onto a new piece of land that fits their wants and needs. He has found through his journey in life that honesty, integrity, and humility are just some of his attributes that he uses to assist clients to make the right decision in finding that slice of heaven.

Adam went to college at Ferris State University to study Professional Golf Management and Marketing. While there he sharpened his personal and professional skills. Having a background in mostly golf, he has learned to have patience and to get to know the people he is working with more personally. Having patience and the want to understand them, makes the clients feel comfortable and have a better understanding of the process it takes to become a Texas landowner.

When Adam is not with clients he likes to unwind and stay active outdoors with his significant other and two dogs. He spends time hunting, hiking, and fishing as much as he can. He enjoys taking his lab, Otis, to hunt upland and waterfowl birds. He also enjoys playing golf or watching hockey.
